Product Description
Scope of use
In conjunction with a substrate and primary structure that complies with the NZ Building Code, or where the primary structure is the equivalent stiffness to the framing provisions of NZS 3604:2011.
- The substrate must have a moisture content of <6 % at the time the floor is laid. For a concrete substrate and where the moisture content is > 6 %, a layer of 6 ml polyethylene may be installed.
- Strata Premium Hush may not be laid over the following substrates:
- Carpet underlay or carpet
- Cushioned back vinyl
- Engineered or solid hardwood over concrete
- Rubber
- Cork
- Laminates
- Free floating floors.
- Substrates must not slope more than 25 mm per 1.83 m in any direction.
- Maximum deflection of the substrate must be < l/360.
- Substrates must be smooth and free of roughness with no changes in elevation. They must be 4.8 mm flat in a 3 m radius.
For all building classified uses.
- For commercial and industrial uses, refer to Woodland Lifestyle.
- Strata Premium Hush is only for use in interior situations.
- Strata Premium Hush is not intended for use as a shower flooring.
In connection with underfloor heating.
- The substrate surface must not exceed 29º C.
New Zealand Building Code (NZBC)
The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:
