General tiled areas to prevent moisture ingress.
New Zealand Building Code (NZBC)
The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:
- Clause B2 Durability: Performance B2.3.1(b)
- Clause E2 External moisture: Performance E2.3.1, E2.3.2
- Clause E3 Internal moisture: Performance E3.3.6
- Clause F2 Hazardous building materials: Performance F2.3.1

Product Criteria
Design requirements
Concrete substrates and Fibre Cement boards to be clean and dry.
Concrete: smooth surface finish to be either U2 wood float or U3 steel trowel to NZ 3114.
Specified falls:
Wet floor showers - 1:60
Tiled decks - 1:40
Gutters - 1:100
Installation requirements
Refer the Waterproofing Systems installation guidelines and specifications.
Only installed by licenced LBP registered Waterproofing Systems NZ ltd applicators.
Quality Control checksheets must be completed for each job and kept as a record of evidence to ensure the installation meets WPSNZ specification.
The system should be installed in dry conditions. The substrate must have a maximum moisture content of 20% for Fibre Cement Boards and 75% RH for concrete at the time of laying.
Substrate falls for the installation are correct.
Bond breaker system used at all floor-wall junctions, internal and external corners and pipe penetrations.
Dropper outlets and scuppers are installed to specification.
Primer is applied at the correct application rate.
Installation of Gripset liquid membrane system.
Maintenance requirements
Refer to the Care & Maintenance instructions available on our website and are attached to the Warranty document.
Warrantees
When installed to specification and subject to normal environmental conditions and use, The Gripset 2P and 38FC liquid membranes, when subjected to normal conditions of environment and use, properly maintained to have serviceable life of 15 years.
A 15 Year Material Warranty is issued on receipt of Quality Control Checksheet/s and warranty application.

The Gripset liquid membranes are a new generation of protective coatings using 100% natural materials to solve industry and environmental problems. This environmentally friendly technology has led to the development of high quality water based solvent free membranes that have extreme resistance to water absorption and flexibility.
Gripset 2P liquid membrane is certified to AS/NZ 4020-2005 for potable water storage.
