. Damtec is a unique and exclusive, first grade acoustic underlay manufactured from raw materials, cork and rubber making it an excellent acoustic underlay to be used under floors such as resilient sheet vinyl as well as Luxury Vinyl Planking and Luxury Vinyl Tiles. It provides a high level of impact sound improvement as part of a system to provide possible reductions in impact sound of 18dB. The specially formulated ratio of high grade rubber compound and cork also provides long term durability and softness underfoot making for a comfortable feel under the nominated floor finish for high trafficable areas, assisting to meet the acoustic demands of high rise residential and commercial developments as well as for aged care facilities and the like.
