Product Description
Scope of use
Laminex Compact and Laboratory Compact are suitable for use in applications such as shower and toilet cubicles, interior wall linings, tabletops, lockers, office furniture, laboratory workshops, kitchen cabinets and benchtops.
It is appropriate for use where hygiene is important such as leisure facilities, schools, hospitals and doctor's surgeries, shopping centres, bars, hotels, in offices and residential kitchens and bathrooms.
New Zealand Building Code (NZBC)
The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:
- Clause B2 Durability: Performance B2.3.1, B2.3.1(c)
- Clause C3 Fire affecting areas beyond the fire source: Performance C3.4(a)
- Clause E3 Internal moisture: Performance E3.3.4, E3.3.5
- Clause F2 Hazardous building materials: Performance F2.3.1

Product Criteria
Design requirements
Laminex Compact is extremely scratch, wear, stain, moisture and impact resistant. The panels have a high resistant to organic solvents such as acetone, toluene, xylene & similar substances. They are resistant to disinfectants & cleaning chemicals as well as food juices & dyes, which affect neither the properties nor the appearance.
The range of colours has been selected from the Laminex Colour Palette meaning that panels can easily integrate and coordinate with other products & services.
Laminex Panels for Partitions standard is is covered by a 10 year limited warranty and laboratory grade is covered by a 5 year warranty.
