New Zealand Building Code (NZBC)
The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:
- Clause B2 Durability: Performance B2.3.1(b), B2.3.2
- Clause E2 External moisture: Performance E2.3.2
- Clause F2 Hazardous building materials: Performance F2.3.1

Product Criteria
Design requirements
Available in 75mm, and 150mm wide rolls.
A versatile and flexible system that can be used on bevelled sills, variable jamb angles and to seal penetrations in the building wrap. Can be used on all accepted building wraps, including bituminous paper.
Specified for use with RAB systems when installed to RAB manufacturers’ specifications.
Installation requirements
The Tak primer/adhesive provides superior adhesion for the tapes, while the detail tape is moulded into the corners of the opening. The sill tape is then applied and folded out onto the face of the opening. Head flashing tape is used at the joinery head to seal the flashing on to the building wrap.
Environmental
Zero waste as tape can be joined by overlapping 100mm.
