Aqualok is as it sounds, a permeable paving system that manages stormwater run-off by diverting water and locking it into the drainage medium to filter pollutants and sediment before releasing the cleansed water to the ground below.The raised nubs on each side of the paver allow a wider space between pavers when laid, this is then filled with a fine drainage medium creating a drainage channel for water to flow.The Aqualok paving system combined with the Aquastone paving system can create a striking landscape design. The combination of rectangle and cobblestone sett pavers can achieve eye-catching design features, whether it is subtle edging or a more dramatic pattern.
