Product Description
Resene Broadwall Surface Prep &
Seal is a high build basecoat
designed for roller application
over stopped and jointed wall
systems. It equalises surface
porosities; smoothes minor
surface irregularities; minimises
textural differences; seals the
surface and provides a perfect
base for subsequent Resene
finishes. Is a key element to
achieving a level 5 finish on
paperfaced plasterboard.
Typical Uses:
- Air dry (polymer based)
stoppings and finishing
compounds
- Gypsum based stoppings and
finishing compounds
- MDF
- Paperfaced plasterboard
- Pine
Performance:
- Good adhesion to MDF, Pine, stoppings and
finishing compounds.
- High build surfacer, which does not require
sealing prior to application of Resene
waterborne finishes.
- Sandable.
- Surface reinstatement after stripping wallpaper.
- Upgrade level of finish of existing painted walls.
- An Environmental Choice approved product.
