Scope of use
For roof pitches of 15-60 degrees. Not suited for metal tray or membrane roofs or custom-made flashings

B2/AS1
Durability - AS 4285 - VELUX Skylights satisfy the durability
requirements specified for Non-structural Roof Cladding elements and
External Window/Door Joinery. VELUX Skylights have passed tests for
weather tightness, concentrated load, non-cyclonic and cyclonic wind
pressures according to Australian Skylight Standard AS4285 test methods.

External Moisture - AS 4285 - VELUX Skylights have passed tests for
weather tightness, concentrated load, non-cyclonic and cyclonic wind
pressures according to Australian Skylight Standard AS4285 test methods.

Product Criteria
Design requirements
TWR Sun Tunnels are modular fixed, non-venting tubular skylights intended for roof
pitches between 15 and 60 degrees. They are available in 350mm diameter 99% reflective polished aluminium tubes, which can be extended up to 6 metres in length.
The
polyurethane roof unit has 4mm thick toughened glass and an integrated flashing
suitable for corrugated and trapezoid profile metal roofing, metal and
concrete/clay tiles.
TWF
Sun Tunnels do not have a fire rating.
Installation requirements
Install
TWF Sun Tunnel in accordance with instructions supplied with the product and
local building code requirements. 453834-2020-09-TWR_TLR.indd (azureedge.net).
Align Sun Tunnel with the trim opening, free of warp or twist, maintaining
dimensional tolerances. Attach skylight to the trim-out frame with screws
furnished by manufacturer. Coordinate attachment and seal of perimeter air and
vapor barrier material. Tape all joints and connections to
ensure there no gaps tape using 'silver' tape provided.

Exterior surfaces must be cleaned with clean water at least once
a year, subject to the environmental conditions present.
