A highly sought-after marine grade hardwood plywood with impact resistance, strong cabinetry properties and an attractive irregular grain pattern with a light to medium brown, slightly red-brown colour tone. Rotary cut veneer faces with a WBP Phenolic marine bonded glueline (EN314-2 Class 3) and E1 formaldehyde emissions rating. Manufactured to IHPA standards. One of the most cost-effective options for interior plywood applications.
Available in BB BS1088 Marine grade in 4, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18 and 25mm thicknesses in 2440x1220mm sheets. Meranti Premium carries the same marine glueline as BS1088 but without the official British Standard stamp and is popular in high-end and general joinery work. Note: as a natural hardwood, colour can vary significantly between sheets — inspect before use.
Suitable for kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, joinery, wall and ceiling linings, commercial fitouts, furniture, boat building and marine environments. Must be properly sealed to prevent moisture damage.
