These External Venetian Blinds for buildings are a highly effective solution for solar control, reflecting light and heat before it reaches the building structure. The blinds reduce glare and thermal gain while improving natural light distribution and maximising energy savings. Resilient blades and hardware are engineered for protection from harsh weather conditions, including strong winds, ice and snow. Blinds are also suitable for large door and window openings up to a surface area of 20 square metres.

Horiso® External Venetian Blinds can incorporate the Solarware Shade Controller. A powerful and efficient device provides a flexible customised solution for individual requirements including:

• Control based on Solar Angle of Incidence (SAI) providing weather conditions
• Sun and wind sensors automatically allow blinds to react to optimal shading year round
• Scheduling allows for customised closing or opening of the blinds on a daily basis
• Blinds can be controlled from wall switches, your computer, PDA or via the internet
