Scope of Use
All WoodClinic Products are Suitable:
- for high traffic areas
- for use in both residential and commercial
- to be used in conjunction with other WoodClinic Products
Recycled Rubber Acoustic Underlay is suitable:
- to be installed directly over concrete & timber substrates and floor levelling compounds
- for use in structures where reduction of sound transmission between floors is required
- for use in wet areas with specific floor coverings
Vapour Barrier is suitable:
- for use over green slabs that are not subject to rising damp
- to be used on an absorbant substrate
- to be applied with a roller, trowel or squeegie
- to have a rapid dry time for same day installation
Wood Floor Adhesive is suitable:
- for direct fix engineered timber floor installation
- to be applied directly over concrete and timber substrates and floor levelling compounds
- Is suitable for use in wet areas with specific floor coverings.
New Zealand Building Code (NZBC)
The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:
- Clause B2 Durability: Performance B2.3.1(b)
- WoodClinic™ Recycled Rubber Acoustic Underlay has a 10 year warranty.
- WoodClinic™ Vapour Barrier has a 10 year warranty.
- WoodClinic™ Wood Floor Adhesive has a 10 year warranty.
- Clause E3 Internal moisture: Performance E3.3.3
- WoodClinic™ Recycled Rubber Acoustic Underlay can be used as part of a system in conjunction with WoodClinic™ Wood Floor Adhesive, WoodClinic Vapour Barrier and VidaSpace engineered timber flooring to show compliance with E3. Refer to our VidaSpace NZ Building Code Compliance Guide (Including E3)
