Resene Particle Board Sealer

Product Description

Resene Particle Board Sealer is a unique product designed for use under clear alkyd and polyurethane varnishes. Seals in all fibres and waxes used in the manufacture of such boards as fibre and particle board.

Interior

Typical Uses:

• Where a solventborne or polyurethane finish is required over HDF and MDF

Performance:

1. Seals in the wax often found on the surface of particle board. Waxes may inhibit the drying of clear alkyd and polyurethane varnishes.
2. May be overcoated with Resene Qristal Clear Polyurethane, Resene Poly-Flat, Resene PolySatin and Resene Poly-Gloss (see Data Sheet D52).
3. May be overcoated with Resene Polythane for a hardwearing floor finish (see Data Sheet D53). 

Limitations:

1. Resene Particle Board Sealer must be overcoated.
2. Not recommended for exterior use.
3. The quoted coverage is applicable to smooth surfaced boards. Rough surfaces will demand more product.
