Product Description
Scope of use
The COPPERFIX system by KE KELIT is suitable
for use in potable hot and cold water applications,
compressed air and applications like heating and
cooling systems, typically found in commercial buildings.
New Zealand Building Code (NZBC)
The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:
- Clause B1 Structure: Performance B1.3.2
- Clause B2 Durability: Performance B2.3.1(a)
- Clause F2 Hazardous building materials: Performance F2.3.1
- Clause G10 Piped services: Performance G10.3.1
- Clause G12 Water supplies: Performance G12.3.2, G12.3.7
- Clause H1 Energy efficiency : Performance H1.3.4(c)

Product Criteria
Design requirements
All designs and construction shall be within the requirements and the tables set out in the COPPERFIX
Australasian Technical Specification Rev 2: April 2017 and the COPPERFIX System Handbook 05/2016 - available from
the manufacturer’s web site www.kekelit.co.nz, including design velocities in accordance with the
corresponding European standards referenced, and all other uses are outside the scope of this certificate.
Installation requirements
Installation shall be performed by KE KELIT (NZ) Ltd. trained and approved installers, who shall be suitably qualified
Licensed Building Practitioners.
Installation and maintenance - where applicable - of the COPPERFIX System, shall be in accordance with the
COPPERFIX Australasian Technical Specification Rev 2: April 2017, COPPERFIX Training Manual and the
COPPERFIX System Handbook 05/2016.
