Scope of use

Product Use: SuaveStone Polished Plaster is a decorative interior finish suitable for use on new and existing flat, clean and dry surfaces such as plasterboard, cementboard, concrete, blockwork, MDF and primed metal work. Texture can range from subtle to heavy, with a polish level from matte to satin. Not suitable for wet areas. We recommend that you consult our technical adviser for special areas of application.

New Zealand Building Code (NZBC)

The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:

• Clause B2 Durability: Performance B2.3.1(c), B2.3.2(a)

  Ambitec Manufacturers WarrantyAmbitec (NZ) Ltd (the Manufacturer) hereby warrants the product quality of Ambitec Polished Plaster Finishes (the Product) on the terms set out in the Manufacturers Warranty, for a period of 10 years from the date of completion of installation, subject to compliance with the exclusions listed in the Manufacturers Warranty.

• Clause C3 Fire affecting areas beyond the fire source: Performance C3.4(a)

Product Criteria

Design requirements

Suitable for residential, commercial and retail interiors, including cabinetry & furniture. Can be used in bathrooms, powder rooms and kitchens but avoid surfaces directly exposed to water such as shower cubicles/wet areas. A surface sealer is recommended for applications in moisture prone and sometimes in high traffic areas.
