Product Description

The CL100 LaviLock is a code compliant commercial-grade disabled toilet access lock. It has been specifically designed for sliding toilet doors and has "VACANT' and 'IN USE' indication etched into the side plate.

These locks are handed, meaning that setting up exit free is as simple as ordering the correct hand lockset.

Important: to be Council Compliant the Lever / Lever option must be used for accessible toilets and the door needs to be a minimum of 910mm wide for a clear walk through of 760mm. With today's wheelchair manufacturing sizes however, a door leaf of 1000mm is more suited to provide easy access.

Product Criteria

Design requirements

The door must protrude 100mm from the pocket to allow the hardware to clear the jambs. Specify Accessible Cavity Slider and CS NewYorker door for a complete council-compliant solution.

Installation requirements

Centre of the handle should be positioned between 900mm and 1200mm (1000mm optimal) above the finished floor level. The door needs to be at least 910mm wide to allow a minimum clear walk-through of 760mm

Maintenance requirements

Clean door hardware only with mild soap and water. Do not use chemicals or solvents.
