Scope of Use
ARDEX Floor Preparation products are designed to pre-level and patch new or
existing floors to meet the requirements of AS 1884:2023 Floor Covering
Resilient Sheet and Tiles.
New Zealand Building Code (NZBC)
The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:
- Clause B2 Durability: Performance B2.3.1
ARDEX floor preparation products are used under resilient flooring products
to provide a suitable substrate for floor coverings to be installed.
There is no local or global standard for testing. Performance testing
undertaken by ARDEX include compressive strength, flexural strength, set times, length change, etc. These parameters are all set internally for ARDEX to
issue appropriate warranties.
ARDEX floor preparation products are designed to exceed the life expectation
of the top floor covering.
All ARDEX products are tested for VOC content and are below the parameters
as set down for products used internally.
- Clause F2 Hazardous building materials: Performance F2.3.1
