Product Description
Resene Galvo One is a single
pack primer based on alkyd resins
and special anti-corrosive
pigments. Specially developed
for direct application to new and
weathered galvanised steel.
Effectively welds itself to
galvanised steel and stops zinc
corrosion. Also suitable for use on
Zincalume.
Exterior
Typical uses:
- Downpipes
- Flashings
- Galvanised steel
- Gutters
- Long run and corrugated iron
- Zincalume
Performance:
- May be applied over a wide range of
temperatures (10-30°C).
- Excellent adhesion to galvanised steel and
Zincalume.
- May be overcoated with most roof paint
systems, such as Resene Hi-Glo (see Data
Sheet D31) and Resene Mica Bond (see Data
Sheet RA71), any time over a period of three
months.
- May be used on roofs that are to be used for the
collection of drinking water when topcoated.
- Suitable for use over lightly rusted galvanised
steel and Zincalume.
