Scope of use

Suitable for busy commercial entrance ways, including schools, shopping centres, offices etc.  Ideally placed inside entrances or sheltered exterior situations to stop water and dirt entering premises, as well as providing an attractive welcome,  Low profile matting may be fitted in an 8 - 10 mm deep set down, or placed adjacent to other low profile floor coverings, such as tiles,  carpet or carpet tiles. Available also with  prefitted ramping as required. C3.4b - Aluminium and infill matting and scraper ribbed carpet exceeds ISO 9239-1 requirements.  CRF 4.9 Kw/m2 D1  

Access - slip resistance.  ALUMAT 10W is an acceptable solution exceeding minimum slip resistance  of 0.4 when dry and wet.

Design requirements

Alumat AL10 W  is an ideal choice where a 10mm high profile entrance mat is required in intense wear situation with wider than normal profiles.  It can be fitted into a recessed mat well, or be fitted with our unique ramping option.  Our ramping is unlike others, coming preinstalled.  This means our mitred corners of ramping if required are perfectly aligned and locked in place.  There is no need to drill holes to secure the ramps saving unsightly screw fixings, ill fitting joints and holes and plugs to the floor.

Warrantees

Alumat mats are all guaranteed for a minimum of 5 years.This applies for  both infills and aluminium bases,

Alumat10 W and 10WD have an extended frame warranty of 10 years, where frames are warranted to be refurbishable with new infills, provided the mat was correctly installed and maintained as per instructions.  While infills too are exceptionally hard wearing, to keep entrances looking at their best, replacement of infills is possible and recommended after 5 to 10 years of use although they will continue to wear and perform beyond that time.

All of the products used are manufactured by companies that have demonstrated their commitment to the environment and have been appropriately certified.We have selected aluminium that is designed to withstand wet conditions and can be reused after refurbishment if in suitable condition.

HD frames have warranties that they will be refurbishable for extended periods, provided they have been correctly installed and maintained.
