Product Description
Scope of use
TreadTech, when installed in accordance with Installation Guide, is intended for use as a deck framing system in horizontal applications. It has been designed to support Composite decking boards, Exterior structural tiles and hardwood timber decking boards.
New Zealand Building Code (NZBC)
The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:
- Clause B1 Structure: Performance B1.3.1, B1.3.2, B1.3.3(a), B1.3.3(b), B1.3.3(f), B1.3.3(g), B1.3.3(j), B1.3.4
Performance B1.3.1, B1.3.2 and B1.3.4. TreadTech meets the requirements for loads arising from self-weight, imposed gravity loads arising from use, and earthquake impact [i.e. B1.3.3 (a), (b), (f), (g), and (j)].
- Clause B2 Durability: Performance B2.3.1
Extruded aluminium joists and bearers manufactured from 6060 T5 or T6 aluminium alloy and either powder coated or anodized.
- Clause F2 Hazardous building materials: Performance F2.3.1
Performance F2.3.1. The TreadTech – Aluminium Deck Subframe System meets this requirement and will not present a health hazard to people.
