Pastel colours are a cultural obsession. Founded in the late 1800s, pastel was a word created to describe “soft shade”.

We all love pastel colours because of the charismatic charm that they can deliver. Getting those colours around your home will truly create a distinctive space that you can call your own. And here at PeterFell we will be able to provide all the support you need to execute that idea.

The pastel coloured concrete range is made with Aalborg white cement. This cement comes with enhanced whiteness. It is this light background that allows the creation of these soft, subtle tones. The pastel colour you get along with concrete is permanent and it will never fade.

Prices vary depending on the colour. They come at a premium, but the end result will justify your investment.

It’s time to choose your colours.

There are a couple of things you need to keep in mind. Colours look different on every screen you view them on, so order some actual samples before making your final decision. Something else to remember is that because concrete is a natural material with natural variations, the concrete laid in your space probably won’t match the sample exactly.

Light Trowel

Here’s where you can choose the style of cuts you want in your concrete to avoid the risk of cracking.

Construction Cuts are essential in controlling concrete cracking. Talk to your contractor about where the construction cuts will be positioned.

Add Decorative Cuts to add even more visual interest to your coloured concrete flooring.

Generally, no cuts are needed in concrete walls, however please be aware however that for cast in-situ walls, you’ll need to include expansive joints to allow for movement. We recommend that you discuss this with your engineer.

Sealing or polishing the concrete surface makes it easy to clean, maintain and prolongs the life of your concrete. The sealer you choose has an impact on the final look and feel, it also provides the finishing touch to your space.
