Pacoflex is the ultimate car park waterproofing system designed as a durable external waterproof membrane, which
is suitable where high volumes of vehicle traffic are likely.
membrane is called Pacoflex, which is polymer modified mastic asphalt. It comprises
of limestone aggregates bound together by asphalt cement and SBS polymers.
system is laid on a separation layer which separates the system from the substrate. This is beneficial when substrates have hairline cracking. Pacoflex is 2 layer system comprising of a waterproofing layer and with the addition of selected aggregates to the second layer of the system it becomes a monolithic traffic-able waterproofing system. The whole achieves a total thickness of between 40-50 mm depending on traffic movement and design.
Scope of use
can be used in new or existing commercial buildings. It must be applied on a
flat surface with suitable falls. It is applied mainly on concrete structures due to the weight of the product, but can be used on timber if the structure can carry the weight. Due to the nonpolitical nature of Pacoflex it has been used and approved on large projects where there is an issue falls.
