- Clause C3 Fire affecting areas beyond the fire source: Performance C3.4(a)
Forbo Bulletin Board maintains a valid test report
showing it achieves a Group 3 rating for use on
walls.
Forbo Bulletin Board is acceptable for Wall
materials in crowd and sleeping uses except
household units where care or detention is
provided when buildings are protected with an
automatic fire sprinkler system.
Forbo Bulletin Board is acceptable for Wall/ceiling
materials in occupied spaces in all other locations
in buildings, including household units when both
buildings are not protected and protect with an
automatic fire sprinkler system.
- Clause F2 Hazardous building materials: Performance F2.3.1
No components within Forbo Bulletin Board are
considered Hazardous.

Comprised of oxidised linseed oil, rosin binders, finely ground cork, and mineral fillers, calendered onto a jute backing.
Installation requirements
Forbo Bulletin Board is to be installed by adhering the Bulletin Board onto the surface of a backing board and press in firmly with a hand roller, or with a press. Using a press enables several Bulletin Board covered sheets to be pressed simultaneously as per the Forbo Bulletin Board Installation Guide. When using a press, a quality polyvinyl acetate dispersion adhesive may be used in a double-stick method. Refer to the Bulletin Board Installation guide for further details.
Maintenance requirements
Forbo Bulletin Board must be installed by a qualified trades person and must be handled, installed, and maintained in strict compliance with Forbo’s recommended procedures and instructions as set out in the Forbo Bulletin Board Installation Guide. Bulletin Board material is permanently anti-static and thus does not attract dust, it is also bacteriostatic and these properties mean it is low maintenance and hygienic. To clean Bulletin Board simply use a pH-neutral cleaning agent and then wipe it with a damp cloth.
