Triton 40 Sport™ is high impact resistant glass fibre acoustical ceiling & wall panel with reinforced woven glass fabric facing. The panel is designed to provide high sound absorption in areas subject to impact, knocks and bumps.
Manufactured from woven faced Sonatex™ composite facer panel laminated to a 80 kg/m³ bio-soluble glass fibre absorber. DX24 suspension grid from galvanised steel.
Impact resistant construction, resists damage from bumps and knocks. Chip, crack and puncture resistant facing. Proprietary wide faced T38 suspension grid system with CL104 brackets secure the system against ball impact.
High sound absorption, ideal for large volume spaces. NRC 0.95 for control of reverberation. Can be made in a range of sizes, max width 1000 mm, length to 3000mm

Triton 40 Sport™ is ideal for use in classrooms, gymnasiums, halls, corridors etc to control reverberation and background noise levels.
Shall not commence until the building is water tight and dry. Light fittings shall be independently supported, use CLW95 hold down brackets to secure panels against uplift from ball impact. It is recommended that air grilles be installed in the ceiling to balance air pressure differentials. Do not use in ceilings with negative air return plenums.
Minimum installation standard to AS/NZS 2785 and ASTM C636. Installation to be only by the manufacturer’s accredited installer, using the manufacturer’s technical services. Accredited installers to be members of the Association of Wall and Ceiling Industries of New Zealand (AWCI)
Clean with vacuum or soft brush. Re-surfacing of soiled panels available, consult Asona.
Made from 80% recycled local content, low embodied energy, product and packaging can be recycled in NZ. Low VOC <0.002 Mg/M²/hr per ASTM D5116. Renew & recycle service available to extend product life and reduce construction waste.
